January 2008

January 25-27 (Friday-Sunday)

Golden Gate KC Show at the Cow Palace

  • Setup & DecoratiCow Palace Food Tentng the Bench (Friday, 9AM)
  • General Membership and Board Meetings (Saturday)
  • All breed show and benching of dogs (Saturday & Sunday, 8AM-5PM)
  • ARF Benching in in Hall E, Lower Exhibit Hall
  • Teardown of Benches and Decorations (Sunday, 5PM)
We need volunteers to come for the setup on Friday and to stay for the teardown on Sunday. If enough people show up, it only takes a couple of hours at each end of the process.

Annual General Meeting and Board Meeting at Chief Solano KC show in Vallejo. The agenda will include:

  • Presentation of President's Trophy
  • Presentation of Certificates of Achievement

  • General Membership and Board Meetings (Saturday - Exact schedule to be determined. We will probably meet either on the Temperament Test lunch break or shortly after the TT concludes around 4:45PM)

Club Meetings

Regularly scheduled club meetings are held at the time and location of Rottweiler conformation shows around Northern California. Club meetings generally take place 15-30 minutes after the Rottweilers' BOB is selected, usually at a site near the show ring. If Rotties are scheduled to show after lunch, we may schedule the meetings to begin before show time.

Meeting Policies

ARF general meetings are open to members and others interested in the Rottweiler breed and our club's activities. Board meetings are open to all members unless the Board must close a meeting for an Executive Session to discuss confidential matters.

ARF Membership

ARF members are committed to the enjoyment, protection and improvement of the Rottweiler breed. If you share that interest, whether or not you currently own a Rottweiler, you are invited attend one of our meetings, meet some members and, if you like what you see, to apply for membership. You can request an a membership application from any ARF member or you can download an application from our web site.
