Moving for the Judge

Associated Rottweiler Fanciers (ARF) of Northern California was founded in 1992 for the purpose of bringing together Rottweiler owners, breeders and fanciers in Northern California to promote quality and responsibility in the breeding and care of the Rottweiler; to encourage sportsmanship at dog shows; to educate the public about the true nature of the breed; to educate people new to the breed about the proper care, socialization and training of their Rottweilers; and, above all, to have fun with our dogs. We are proud to have been recognized by the Senate of the State of California with a Resolution about our noble Rottweilers. ARF is a Code of Ethics club.

ARF is an active and diverse club committed to developing the wide range of talents of this noble, Working Breed. Each year we sponsor or participate in events such as: ARF's Rottweiler Specialty & Obedience Trial, the Rottweiler Breed Information Table at the Golden Gate KC Show at the Cow Palace, ARF's All-Breed Temperament Test, an All-Breed Cardiology Clinic and Herding and Carting events.

Check our Club Calendar and join us at a meeting or one of our events. In addition to our sponsored events, there are always ARF members around the Rottweiler ring at major AKC conformation shows. Introduce yourself, get to know a few of us and you may decide to apply for sponsorship to join our club. Membership applications are available at our meetings and events, or on-line on our web site.

Great News/Bad News

AB 1634 is Dead... Thanks to all your help we overwhelmingly defeated the proposal, after its 11th amendment, in the California Senate by a vote of 27 to 5. Unfortunately, the animal rights nuts are back again with another mandatory sterilization bill called SB250. Please write to all members of the California Legislature and object to this offensive proposal. We must remain ever vigilant against these creeps. Visit our Legislation Page for sample letters and legislator contact information.
